Larimar only comes from one place in the world - the Dominican Republic. It is said to provide a calming and soothing power to its wearer connecting them to their inner goddess. Larimar was also the stone that led me to study metaphysical meanings of stones. Before, I was solely interested in geological properties - where they come from, how they formed and how long the process took etc. But when I learned about how Larimar comes from only one place on the planet, an island and only one part of that island, I realized that just like people, your place of origin informs your character and must have some influence on its life force.
